The publisher’s synopsis sends him to Summertown, Colorado, a place whose huge data centers sit alongside a tiny resident population. Turner needs an investigator outside the organization because she no longer knows which colleagues she can trust. The setup continues the series’ mobile, independent protagonist while placing the immediate mystery in an unusual modern landscape.
