The creators of My Sad Dead brought the series back to Buenos Aires’s Piedrabuena neighborhood for a screening with local residents. Netflix reported the event on October 22, following the show’s September 24 streaming debut.

Directed by Pablo Larraín and adapted from Mariana Enriquez’s stories, the limited series follows a retired doctor who can communicate with the dead. The first two episodes screened at the Piedrabuenarte cultural center, where residents met members of the production. Netflix says neighborhood inhabitants also appeared as extras during the shoot. The gathering highlights the relationship between a screen production and the community that supplied its setting.
