The second season of Spanish comedy Old Dog, New Tricks will premiere January 1, 2027. Netflix’s announcement confirms the return of Luis Zahera, Lucía Caraballo, Carmen Ruiz and Álvaro Mel.
The Alea Media series again follows veterinarian Antón, whose workplace is unsettled by the arrival of his niece Uxía, a specialist in animal behavior. Their contrasting approaches become part of a wider story about prosperity and change in Topomorto. Laura M. Campos and Manu Gómez direct the season, created by Víctor García León. Netflix notes that the show was nominated for Best Comedy at the 2026 International Emmy Awards.
