Disney has shared more details about Hexed, its animated feature opening in theaters November 25. Hailee Steinfeld voices teenager Billie Doe, while Rashida Jones voices her mother, Alice.
Billie discovers magical powers and enters the realm of Hexe; Alice follows, bringing a complicated family relationship into an unfamiliar world of witches. Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand direct, with Josie Trinidad as co-director. Disney’s production account emphasizes the mother-daughter relationship as the story’s center. Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller wrote the screenplay, with Roy Conli and Yvett Merino producing.
