Ravi Bharwani returns with the psychological thriller Secrets

Ravi Bharwani’s first film since 27 Steps of May has a new teaser and a global Netflix date. Secrets, starring Sha Ine Febriyanti and Abimana Aryasatya, begins streaming December 3.

Febriyanti plays Parni, a mother who has rebuilt her life after leaving an abusive marriage. Sixteen years later, the return of her husband threatens that hard-won stability. Shenina Cinnamon and Ruth Marini also appear in the Indonesian production. Bharwani co-wrote the screenplay with Rayya Makarim. Netflix’s announcement frames the film around survival, a mother-daughter relationship and the damage left by a past that refuses to stay buried.
