Sofi Tukker released “Tsunami” with OneRepublic on September 25. The collaboration brings the duo into the studio with Ryan Tedder and his band for a new track built around a melodic refrain, bass line and gradually developing dance rhythm.
The song follows Sofi Tukker’s 2026 releases “Cook” with J Balvin and “Barthelona.” According to the duo’s official announcement, the OneRepublic collaboration moved through several versions before reaching its final arrangement.
The release also arrives during the rollout of Sofi Tukker’s Gibson project: eight one-of-a-kind Flying V guitars designed with Sophie Hawley-Weld and revealed during the Animal Talk tour. That visual collaboration is separate from the single itself. “Tsunami” is available now as another recording that connects the duo’s electronic foundation with a different established pop collaborator.
