U2 have announced Carnaval de Luz Presents: The Greatest Show on Earth, a stadium tour set to begin in Mexico City on February 23, 2027. The first announced stops also include São Paulo and Buenos Aires, with Beck supporting the Latin American dates.
The announcement arrives with “The Greatest Show on Earth,” co-written by U2 and Brian Eno. Anton Corbijn directed the accompanying video in the California desert. The track is the third preview of Carnaval de Luz, the band’s forthcoming sixteenth studio album.
Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr. are included in the touring lineup. The October 15 release says European and North American dates will be announced separately, with an Irish return also being planned. Those additional cities and ticket details should be treated as pending until the band and its ticketing partners confirm them.
