Reba McEntire is celebrating the sitcom Reba’s twenty-fifth anniversary with I’m a Survivor – EP. Released October 28 through MCA, the four-track collection includes the television theme version of the song for the first time.
The EP pairs that recording with the original “I’m a Survivor,” an acoustic version produced by Dave Cobb and McEntire, and a remix produced by LeahAnn “Lafemmebear” Mitchell. The original song, written by Phillip White and Shelby Kennedy, first appeared on McEntire’s 2001 greatest-hits collection.
A seven-inch vinyl edition is available to preorder, with shipment scheduled for December 11. This is the seventh entry in McEntire’s monthly music-capsule series, which began in April to recognize fifty years of her recording career. The television connection gives this installment a specific archival addition alongside its alternate versions.
