Javi Medina released Gato Blanco on October 23, his fourth solo album. The twelve-song collection follows Gato Negro and continues the Leganés artist’s attention to his origins while exploring additional sounds.
Focus track “Tarada” brings a tropical, salsa-adjacent direction to the record. The album announcement links Medina’s writing and interpretation to the city where he grew up, while also recalling his earlier work repairing guitars before establishing his solo career.
The Gato Blanco–Gato Negro tour includes a major hometown appearance at La Cubierta de Leganés on March 13, 2027. That date connects the new record’s themes of instinct, persistence and returning to familiar places with a concert in the community that shaped him. The album is available now, with the tour providing its next announced live setting.
