Troye Sivan released his fourth studio album, She’s the Best, on October 9. New single “FF” arrived alongside the record, adding a love song about an imagined future relationship to the project’s wider themes.
The announcement identifies Jack Antonoff, George Daniel, Cirkut, Madison Love, Leland and Jasper Harris among the single’s writing and production collaborators. A video directed by Gordon von Steiner was filmed on Fire Island, using its beaches and interiors as the setting.
Earlier songs establish different sides of the album: the title track reflects on women and femme people in Sivan’s life, while “Party” turns toward nightlife. “FF” supplies the counterpoint of anticipation and loneliness beneath that social energy. The complete album is now available, allowing listeners to hear those individual releases within the sequence of the full project.
