BTS’ ARIRANG world tour will reach cinema audiences through live viewings of its Kaohsiung and Jakarta concerts, Trafalgar Releasing, HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC announced November 2.
The Kaohsiung screening is scheduled for November 21, with encore showings in selected markets on November 22. The Jakarta concert follows December 29, with selected markets screening it December 30.
Global ticket sales open November 5
Tickets go on sale November 5 through the official BTS live-viewing website. The global sale begins at 8 a.m. Eastern, 5 a.m. Pacific and 1 p.m. GMT, with local cinema listings providing individual showtimes and participating venues.
The two events bring stadium performances into theaters as the group’s Asian tour dates reach their year-end finale. Fans should consult the cinema listings for the date offered in their market, since some locations carry the following-day screening or encore.
Two cities, two cinema events
The release gives audiences outside the concert venues a way to gather for the performances on a larger screen. Kaohsiung anchors the November program, while Jakarta supplies the December event.
