The Cranberries’ fifth album, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee, will return in expanded editions on January 29, 2027. Geffen and UMe announced the anniversary release with a range of vinyl, CD and digital configurations.
The extras include B-sides, previously unreleased recordings from Dublin’s Vicar Street, new stereo mixes by original producer Stephen Street, and a track-by-track retrospective from the band. Expanded notes place the record alongside the group’s earlier work with Street, who also produced their first two albums.
Originally recorded after the extensive Bury the Hatchet tour, the album includes “Analyse” and “Time Is Ticking Out.” Collectors have several choices, including a limited coffee-filled vinyl edition. The package’s contents vary by format, so listeners seeking the archival material should check the deluxe track listings rather than assuming every anniversary pressing contains the same recordings.
