EZ Mil released 3rd Wrld Vol. 2 on October 23 through Shady Records, Aftermath Records and Interscope. The new EP continues the 3rd Wrld series launched with a first installment in July.
The project includes “Madara,” bringing EZ Mil together with Eminem, Tokyo rapper Hideyoshi and Neil Kaplan, who voices Madara Uchiha in the English-language Naruto dub. The track extends EZ Mil’s recording relationship with Eminem after “Realest” and his appearance on “Head Honcho.”
Born in the Philippines and based in Las Vegas, EZ Mil has made his Filipino heritage part of the series. The earlier EP included “2200,” named after Olongapo City’s postal code, plus “SindAK” and “Lord Help Me.” The second installment builds that series outward through a collaboration spanning American rap, Japanese underground music and anime culture.
